Little Talbot is a barrier island just below Big Talbot.  It has broad, pristine white sand beaches and clean turquoise water.  The entire island is a Florida state park so it’s undeveloped and unspoiled.  There are few fossils to be found on Little Talbot, but this is a great beach for shells such as angelwings, sand dollars, sea urchins, and other fragile shells which wash up intact due to the wide sandy beach.  The Northern tip of the island has small sand dunes, which trap other beachcombing treasure such as antique glass bottles and floats.  Visit after a storm, and bring lots of water as the trek to the northern beach is long.
